This will be a 2.5 - 3 day (weekend only) backpacking trip to Conundrum Hot Springs located right outside of Aspen, CO. Depending on your arrangements, the trip will start from the airport (DIA) or a pre-negotiated location in Denver. If you are not in Denver, we will meet in Aspen. Friday night will be spent at a dispersed camping area near the Conundrum Trail Head, along Independence Pass. Saturday will be an early rise, 6-7am, allowing time to get to the trailhead, park, and complete the hike before noon or 1pm. The rest of the day can be enjoyed at the Hot Springs or we can hike further (without packs) and explore the surrounding areas. Saturday night will be spent camping at Conundrum Springs. Depending on your travel accomadations, Sunday can be enjoyed at Conundrum, exploring or we can hike back in the morning. The hike is 9 miles in and 9 miles out.

Due to my current schedule, I am only available to start guiding on Friday's, mid-afternoon through Sunday evening. June-September
While the elevation gain is not tremendous over the 9 mile hike, it is still a tiring day. Be sure you are prepared to hike this distance, with a backpack and your share of food, tent, bag, pad, etc. It is also at elevation, which will play a factor if you are not prepared. While I would not say this is a strenuous hike, I would recommend having some outdoor/hiking/camping experience. If you have your own gear, we can definitely negotiate the price.
DIA, Denver or in Aspen
DAY 1
Meet touring group mid-afternoon at one of the specified locations (if none of those 3 work, I am flexible on meeting up elsewhere and that can be arranged later). Drive to the West end of Independence Pass and camp for the night. Given that there are no fire bans, we will have a great campfire and enjoy the stars!
DAY 2
Wake up between 6-7am and leave for the Conundrum Trailhead. Ideally, we will be hiking by 7:30am. Arrive to Conundrum Hot Springs between 11am-2pm depending on how quickly the group is moving. After we arrive, we will rest, cook some food, enjoy the hot springs! If the group wants to explore the surrounding area, we can do a bit more hiking from our campsite.
DAY 3
The last day will be up to the tour group. Options will be similar to the Day 2 evening. Enjoy the hot springs, do some adventerous hiking or simply relax and take in the nature. We can start the 9 mile hike back to the trailhead at any time desired by the group. It would be advisiable to be hiking by noon to be back to the Denver area around 8pm.
